I bought the Project LX '87 Mustang LX Sedan as a commuter car during college. It had 98,000 on the odometer when I got it. Although the woman who originally owned the car was very nice to it, she didn't do much in the way of maintenance so it needed quite a bit. Instead of simply buying the (more expensive) factory parts, I decided to test the validity of the 5.0 legend and see just how easy it was to modify it and get results. Check out Chapter 1 to see where it all began.
5/06: Stage 1 is complete. The car got up and running, was in good shape and responded well to some minor changes...until disaster hit. To find out more see Chapter 2!
Steps
