Bench Racing

There's a first time for everything.

I went on an entire road trip and the Cobalt didn't break anything.

No, I didn't just go down the street and come back.

It actually managed 4,000 miles with nary a whimper.

Not even a broken windshield.

It's a bloody miracle.

If you didn't know, last week's post featured a photo of Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Arizona. The Cobalt and I took a trip there for some pleasant weather and got a chance to take in some racing. As I mentioned, she and I didn't race, but I did check it out and was impressed.

I'll definitely be back — hopefully with a car to race at some point.

Now I'm home again and speaking of Homecomings, that's the name of the newest project for my Mom's Mustang: Project: Homecoming.

You can find it under my Mom's Mustang in Car Projects.

I hope your road trips go as well as this one just did for me. I'm still a little giddy about it, so I'm just going to go ride that wave.

Until next week!
